To launch the Clio Costume National, Renault focused on a TV advertising campaign with great appeal.
The campaign, created by Publicis Italia, sublimely brings together the French car manufacturer and the Italian haute couture fashion brand, further underlining the seductive nature of the Renault Clio.
To make the TV advertising campaign, the company chose the unmistakable and refined style of a leading director, one of the major exponents of the Nouvelle Vague of Italian cinema: Matteo Garrone.
Making use of intense black and white – a stylistic code akin to the fashion world – the game of seduction between the two protagonists is staged in a city with metaphysical surroundings, where the car is also the protagonist of the story.
