So, Heineken created Bar De Change: a Bureau de Change for beers. Travellers could buy Heineken at local South African prices at Johannesburg International Airport, receive digital vouchers, and redeem them at participating bars in Europe. Created by LePub Johannesburg, the platform turned beer into social currency and made connection more accessible across borders.
